Why I chose Animas High School

Before I came to Animas I attended Miller Middle School. When I would think about high school I had always thought of DHS, I didn't really consider Animas. My sister ended up transferring  to Animas junior year. After hearing that she loved it I decided to shadow for a day. I really enjoyed Animas when I shadowed. I could tell that all of the students were enjoying being at school. I also chose Animas because of the hands on, project based learning. I learn the best through working, rather than thinking and planning before I do something. So far I have made many  new connections and I can tell that Animas was the right choice for me.
